LWAA Member Testimonials
Don’t just take our word for it—here’s what other LWAA members have to say about Leadership West and their continued involvement in the organization:
“I have participated in countless leadership development programs but none as comprehensive and focused as Leadership West. As a graduate of Class XXII, I have learned about my community in the West Valley where I proudly live and work, and have met lifelong friends and contacts that have enabled me to live my passion of giving back. I, along with two other class members Gina Godbehere and Jennifer Rogers, were able to impact 380,000 lives of students and their families through the Speak Up, Stand Up, Save a Life Conference that had its impetus through our Leadership West class project. This program is a must for those who want to live their values and contribute to their community.”
—Dr. Lily Matos DeBlieux, Superintendent at Pendergast School District
“It is with great honor that I am proud to say that I’m a Leadership West Class XXIV graduate. In life, personally and professionally, leadership skills are necessary, and effective civic ownership mindset is a must. Leadership West has redefined for me, my stewardship heart of serving as a leader with a purpose for a greater good for all. The commitment that I made is an incredible positive progress in my knowledge of the West Valley. I have met wonderful people, true dedicated leaders that inspire me. I know I made lifelong lasting relationships and friendships. I strongly recommend Leadership West to all future leaders of the West Valley and beyond.”
—Maria R. Brunner, Director of Business Development at OneAZ Credit Union
