Each September, Leadership West alumni and other West Valley leaders, friends and supporters are invited to join us as we formally kick off the new program year at the conclusion of the New Class Retreat.
This event is one of three Leadership West signature events that are open to the public. The other two are the Annual Awards Banquet and the West-X Leadership Summit.
The “Conversation on Leadership” event provides an opportunity for the new class to mix and mingle with each other as well as all the other Leadership West alumni and friends.
While enjoying a nice dinner together, an on-stage conversation is taking pace with a prominent Arizona leader. The on-stage discussion is about Civic Ownership and Leadership. It is intended to be an informal, personal conversation between the interviewer and the leader.
It is the final event of the two to three-day New Class leadership retreat and launches the class members into their program year.
This is an ideal opportunity for alumni to meet the new class members, offer their support and to recall their “year to remember”.
